“As in past campaigns, I am pledging a self-imposed campaign contribution limit. There is an excessive influence of money in politics that has a detrimental effect on governing,” Rollo stated.
By self-limiting contributions, campaigns can serve as an example of removing the corrosive influence of money from politics.
Furthermore, placing a contribution limit provides freedom in governing where key no individual or group receives preferential treatment from an elected official.

Candidate Forum March 28

I’ll be participating in a candidate forum on Thursday, March 28, 7-9pm at the Evangelical Community Church (ECC, High St and 2nd St) hosted by the Eastside Neighborhood Association. The District 4 and At-Large candidates have been invited. We get 3 minutes to introduce ourselves and then participate in Q&A. Come on out and join us!
